The Little Vikings Preschool at Forest Grove High School is a Career Technical Education (CTE) lab school. We offer high-quality preschool education for children in our community while giving high school students hands-on experience and foundational skills in Early Childhood Education. The FGHS Early Childhood Program partners with Portland Community College (PCC) to offer dual credit for students in our junior- and senior-level courses. This partnership benefits both our students and the families we serve.
PCC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), a recognition of high-quality early childhood programs. Because of our partnership, our lab school meets these same high standards, providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment for every child.
This collaboration also provides ongoing professional development and includes annual program evaluations. This means you can feel confident that the students working with your child are well-trained and supported. We are committed to providing high-quality early learning and care because we know it matters.
